Stardew Valley has now sold over 15 million copies across all platforms. The creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone is now working on a new game.
Stardew Valley was first released in Feb 2016 for
Microsoft Windows. A 4 years old Indie game is still selling massively where it
now passes 15 million sales milestones. That’s up from 10 million copies
reported last year.
These numbers are absolutely massive for an Indie game.
It makes Stardew Valley a one of the best selling indie games of all time. It’s
really an incredible accomplishment.
Its creator had been frequently releasing free updates for
game over the period but now it seems like Eric Barone has now moving onto his
next project.
In recent interview with Eurogamer he said, “I’m not
saying there’s going to be another Stardew Valley update.” He added “I don’t even
know at this point. Right now I am focused on my next games.”
Stardew Valley is available across all platforms.
