Sales: 200 million copies across all platforms

On its 11th anniversary the company announced that the Minecraft has sold over 200 million units with over 126 million monthly active players.

Terraria-

Sales: 35 million copies across all platforms

Terraria is 2D sandbox indie game which has sold over 35 million units. It first released in May 2011, since becoming a runway success for an Indie title. The game has sold 17.2 million copies on PC, 9.3 million on mobile and 8.5 million on consoles.

Human Fall Flat-

Sales: 25 million copies across all platforms

Human Fall Flat is a platform-puzzle multiplayer Indie game developed by No Brakes Games. It was first released in July 2016. The game has sold 25 million units, since the popularity of the game in China in 2020.

Among Us-

Sales: 13.2 million (10 million on Steam and 3.2 million on Nintendo Switch)

It took two years for Among Us to hit mainstream success. It received a massive popularity in 2020 due to Internet. Among Us became one of the best selling games of 2020 on Steam. The Nintendo Switch version sold 3.2 million units in December 2020.

Fall Guys-

Sales: 11 million copies on PC

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is multiplayer platform battle royale game developed by Mediatonic. It overflowed in popularity due to strong word-of-mouth within the launch. It became the most downloaded monthly PS Plus game of all time. Now Fall Guys is one of the best selling Indie games of all time.

Rocket League-

Sales: 10.5 million copies across all platforms (as of 2017)

Rocket League initially release in July 2015. Developers, Psyonix reported that the game has sold more than 10.5 million units. It was most downloaded game from the PlayStation Store in 2016. The game is now Free-to-play title. Rocket League had 50 million unique players across all platforms.

Stardew Valley-

A beautiful simulation Indie title, Stardew Valley first released in February 2016. It was both critical and commercial success. It has sold over 10 million units, making it one of the best selling Indie games of all time.

Cuphead-

Sales: 6 million copies across all platforms

One of the most difficult Indie game, Cuphead has sold over 6 million copies. It first released in September 2017. The game was praised for its artstyle, gameplay and soundtrack.

The Long Dark-

Sales: 5 million copies across all platforms

The Long Dark is the action-adventure survival Indie game which has sold 5 million copies. The game has overall 8.5 million active players through Xbox Game Pass and Epic Games Store.

Dead Cells-

The Roguelike Metroid-vania style game, Dead cells has sold over 5 million copies across all platforms. In China the game has sold 1 million units. It makes it one of the best selling Indie games.
